Officer Philip Chlanda was distraught after girlfriend's Facebook posts indicated she may have been seeing someone else.

NEW YORK - A uniformed NYPD cop angry over his girlfriend's Facebook postings - and scared she'd leave him - fatally shot himself right in front of the woman on a Manhattan street yesterday, police said.

"I love you," Officer Philip Chlanda, 29, told the woman before shooting himself in the head with his department-issued Glock at around 3 a.m. outside the Murray Hill apartment they shared with his parents, cops said.

His squad car was parked a few feet away.

SF campus cop nabs Hells Angels boss slay suspect

SAN FRANCISCO — The shooting suspect who allegedly killed the leader of the San Jose Hells Angels at a casino in Nevada was arrested Thursday, authorities said.

Ernesto Manuel Gonzalez was taken into custody after a University of California – San Francisco police sergeant saw him in a parking lot near the campus police station, according to CBS News. UCSF Police Chief Pam Roskowski said Sgt. John Gutierrez spotted a man inside a Chevrolet Malibu acting nervously.

What followed was "just good old-fashioned police work," Roskowski said.

Former chief Michael St. Andre and detectives Richard Balzer, Richard Landry and Donald Hopkins face numerous charges, including conducting a criminal enterprise and embezzlement.

Detectives Jeremy Channells and Larry Droege are charged with misconduct in office and neglect of duty.

Sandra St. Andre, the ex-chief's wife, faces acquiring/maintaining a criminal enterprise, conspiracy and tax charges.

DENVER — A Mesa County deputy who grabbed a man's testicles to subdue him was using reasonable force, the sheriff's office said Thursday.

Samuel Fazio, 22, quit resisting after the deputy grabbed Fazio's genitals for a few seconds on Monday, according to the Houston Chronicle.  Deputy Hassan Hassan had been trying to handcuff Fazio, who reportedly hit Hassan in the mouth with his elbow during the struggle.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Heather Benjamin said Hassan was not in the wrong for grabbing Fazio's genitals. Use of force is reviewed on a case by case basis, but deputies are taught to make the suspect compliant as soon as possible.

"It's a reasonable tactic in this situation," Benjamin said.

Fazio, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, was charged with second-degree assault and resisting officers.

Department medical staff conducted a physical examination after Fazio was subdued and could find no injuries resulting from the incident.

Benjamin says the same standard would apply to a woman resisting arrest, although she noted, "The technique would not be effective with a female."

Ex-cop to be sentenced for obstruction of justice

Brad Ahrensfield could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Former Albuquerque police Officer Brad Ahrensfield now has a sentencing date, nearly two years and two trials after he tipped off a close friend who was the target of a federal narcotics and stolen merchandise investigation.

Sentencing is set for Aug. 31 before U.S. District Judge James Parker. Ahrensfield could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the obstruction of justice charge a jury convicted him of Dec. 20.

The date was set Wednesday, the day after Parker denied a motion from Ahrensfield's attorney, Jason Bowles, to dismiss the obstruction charge for insufficient evidence.

"It is not that Ahrensfield's conduct merely interfered with or influenced an investigation, but that Ahrensfield's conduct interfered with an investigation in such a significant manner that the investigation, and therefore the grand jury proceedings that would have resulted from that investigation, had to be terminated," Parker wrote in his 24-page order denying Bowles' motion.

Parker wrote in at least two of his opinions that the Ahrensfield case was a tricky one.
"Although the evidence in this case presents somewhat of a close call, the court concludes that in viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the government, the evidence adduced during the government's case-in-chief is sufficient to establish beyond a reasonable doubt each element of the obstruction of justice charge," he wrote in Tuesday's order.

I thaught it is about time to show some kind of an appreciation for a special person who never left. Whyen I was ask to create a logo for the company, American Robin came to my mind as a bird which tell tails we wish we understand. But sure the sound is well tuned to the drums of our ears.

How birds do it is beyond all of us. But Robin is one who is part of a large group who share spaces among those of unlimited divine power.

It is more than pleasure to have American Robin on  as a logo for my company and my books. American Robin was a real thing back in 1979, a high school cheerleader in Fullerton High who thaught me many things beside riding Sixflag Magic Mountains rollercoasters, choosing my nick name (eddie) with her mom a teacher, and the company of her smart funny bunch of friends in the drama/comedy with an acceptional successful one kristi somers whose family lifted her up to make it to the big screen shortly after high school.

American Robin was a real thing back in 1979, a high school cheerleader in Fullerton High who thaught me many things beside riding Sixflag Magic Mountains rollercoasters, choosing my nick name (eddie) with her mom a teacher, and the company of her smart funny bunch of friends in the drama/comedy with an acceptional successful one kristi somers whose family lifted her up to make it to the big screen shortly after high school.

The magic fat burnner food list keep growing. Like everything else it is a game of expermenting. By then oh well now i know, that one is for that and does that, and the other one do that to that. I had to see for myself. I wonder where does this 2 inches come from, you mean from this and that. One must focus on few easy items that can indeed have within the reach. You can't wait for the broccoli to come out of the hot steamer while you sipping on your third beer.

Penuts, apples, beans, coffee, chocolate, raisins, lite on your salt, twist of lime or lemon in water, sunflowers without the shells, mustard, tomatoes, crackers and lite on your saltine, and hot coco.
